    "Best free AV (for me)."

    Pros

    Everything (anti-virus/spyware/rootkit/unknown-vira, browser protection).
    Highly customizeable protection settings.
    Doesn't slow down my system.

    Cons

    Windows security center detects it as being off until the update process begins even if the realtime is on.
    When it finds something, it recommends to run a boottime scan using Avira rescue system which has to be downloaded seperately (it should already be in the av).

    Summary

    This is the av that goes: "THIS IS SPARTA!!!"
