"Sill Great., But Dislike Nag Screen"
Pros: Still the best. Keeps my computer clean. Auto updates.
Cons: I still don't like the nag screen. This newer version still has the same nag screen of prior versions, which it still displays each time it searches for an update

Pros: Used to be my favorite.
Cons: Another major update released without proper testing. Last time it was that rootkit scanner. Solution...re-install without that component. This time... try a re-install. Sorry, I'm tired of being a beta-tester for Avira! Everyone else labels a beta-program accordingly, the don't call it "freeware". Never again. There is other freewares, and ISP's usually offer a freebie.

"Definitely recommed this product to anyone who hates viruses."
Pros: Not only does it eliminates the problems on your PC. But italso gives you a detailed description of the viruses you are getting rid of.

Pros: although this program does come with an adbot that can be annoying, it is free and works very well. at one point, i had both antivir and avast!.....on three separate occasions, i had a trojan threat, and antivir caught all three FIRST!
the spyware was caught immediately. With antivir, if windows explorer stops workiing, the icon does NOT disappear in the taskbar, leaving you wondering if your realtime is working. This one I will keep and recommend.
Cons: The adbot.

"Avira & Avast TOP FREE ANTIVIRUS"
Pros: my friend decided to throw his desktop away ,and i saved his xp with this avira -(avast) - Spybot - Ad-Aware ..
