Version: Avira AntiVir Personal - Free Antivirus 8.1.0.331
"Computer crashed from worm shortly after. AVG again!"
Pros: Husband liked it so I tried it...
Cons: It didn't protect me from a worm that I got from something on Facebook that someone sent me.

Are you running the free version of AVG. If yes did you activate both AVG and AVIRA to scan your e-mail, if yes disable Avira e-mail scan and it should work ok. I run both free version without any problems. Also do you have a Firewall, if not use ZoneAlarm free version, I run all three without any problems. If you wan't Avira to scan your e-mail and not AVG you will have to disable the e-mail servier option in AVG, don't forget to activate Avira's e-mail scan if you do.

Tsk, Tsk, Tsk! This is why I do not trust nor use social sites like Myspace and Facebook. They are some of the biggest spreaders of malware and spyware!(Not the sites themselves, but some of the users who use it to their malicious advantage.
