"Great Antivirus at ANY Price"
Pros: It's free, easy to use and understand, runs (mostly) quietly in the background, and does a great job. It has stopped countless files, sites, etc. from harming my computer.
Cons: Occasionally the "nag" screens that pop up after the software auto-updates will interrupt what you're doing, but this is infrequent and a small price to pay for top notch (and free) protection.
Summary: This is absolutely a great program. I've used all the Nortons and McAfees and everything else out there, and AntiVir provides the same (if not better) protection, all while working quietly in the background (except for the occasional "nag" screens af... read more

"Cleared my systems (domestic) where others failed."
Pros: Ease of use and inobtrusive.
Cons: A little slow down of one system but no way near as bad as others.
Summary: Give it a try. If there's one thing you can lose, its bugs in your system... how bad can that be? read more

"nag screen 7 diffcult to update"
Pros: off-hand, don't know of any
Cons: On boot have a nagscreen to switch to paid version.
Wouldn't update. In their forum found others had same difficulty and was provided with a fix that worked.Summary: The nag screen disappeared for a few days and restarted a couple of days ago. And no method to eliminate it from their setup info provided. Needless to say will switch to another program, probably this weekend, probably AVG 9 free. It's now updatin... read more
