"it does capture the video but"
Cons: you cant do anything once you started recording, i tried opening a text file and couldn't do it

"Captures NICE, easy menu but enough configuration!"
Pros: You have the choice between predefined capture windows or you candefine your own one. Can follow the cursor or capture a fixed rectangle. Good picture quality and performance
Cons: On one system it did recognize the DivX Codec, on another it did NOT. Very sad! I had only very few (bad) compressors to choose. No DivX, which was definitely installed!

Pros: despite it being a free product and only a nearly 700kb download it delivers what it promises. u can copy videos (or any onscreen activity including games for that matter) whether stored or online with ease. the installer is not corrupt as somebody has mentioned. u have the option to capture full screen or a defined area on screen in an uncompressed or compressed format (whichever u may like). what it actually does is that it copies frame by frame (the rate of which u can decide, the higher the rate the less jerky is the picture but more memory it uses and computer may become slow while recording) and presents it in form of a video (which may occupy large space on ur HD considering that recording of just one min may occupy about 50-60 mb of space) also it doesnt record the audio (for that purpose u may use wavepad software available free on this site and murge the two using windows movie maker). what u need to know is that u must decrease the hardware accleration of monitor to minimum (rt click on desktop-choose prop- go to settings-and then click troubleshoot, the screen may become transiently blank but reverts to normal in a second or two.) to take stills of videos however i recommend free screenhunter (also available free at this site) which gives much better resolution even in fullscreen mode.
Cons: doesnt record audio but thats not a big prob as long as u have online audio recording software like wavepad. I RECOMMEND THIS DOWNLOAD

Pros: Does what it says
Cons: Only feature I think it lacks is Screenshoting the running video. It can record screen activities but if you want a screenshot of a favorite video it delivers black screen nothing more.

Pros: it only copies the object without the sound. it also copies and follows the cursor point.
