Version: Avast Virus Cleaner Tool 1.0.209
"Junk, even worm bagle32 allows it, while all other blocks"
Cons: I caught bagle32, "thanks to Avast protection". All anti virus, CCleaner, Spybot and other "useful" software were blocked even in Safe Mode, it was not possible to install anything. I managed to launch Dr. Web Cureit in Repair Mode, it found some trojans and deleted them. Then it was possible to launch ComboFix and it did all the rest.

RMS-Perhaps you have a conflict of some sort.. Or think that this product is virus blocker, it is NOT, it's just a cleaning tool for *some* viruses, which as you may not know, mutate all the time. Avast! home edition is the antivirus shield/blocker. It was the first thing I had installed, and it caused no problems with the DOZEN anti-spyware pgms.and virus scanners I have installed and use frequently.
Your computer likely has other issues.
