Avast has never let me down. I'm a three Year user going on five. I just bought 2 more years.I have tried all the rest this is simply the best. you can surf without worry Avast has you completely protected.

Cons
Every three or four days, my Avast program quits and tells me that my subscription has expired when I know I have several months remaining. I have used iyogi several times to fix the problem, which always requires at least 1 1/2 hour or more to do whatever is required to get Avast functioning properly. This has, each time, required an uninstall and reinstall of your S/W. I find this unacceptable and will not renew my subscription when it expires later this year. Often, when I get to my computer in the AM, I find that it has not been protected for an unknown time during the night. Very unacceptable! In fact, the next time Avast fails, I will dump it, regardless of any remaining time that was paid for, and purchase anything else.

Very fast, and efficient. Not a bulky anti virus.
Cons
It talks to you. Anti Virus should only talk to you when you have a virus. Not every update... I think you can turn that off though.

Locks up at least once quarterly some times more. It completly shuts down until I can reach Customer service, WHO calls back at their convience and time. It works just like the airline reward ad "Peggy in a polar cabin with a very, very bad accent. I payed for this??????

Avast has been a really good Internet Security program. Even the FREE version beats others that you have to pay for, therefore I decided to buy it. Best antivirus program in my opinion.

Avast is the way to go. I used AVG and that product I wasn't happy with. Very easy to use and their up dates are often, and it's fast. They catch the bad from happening. I just re upped my subscription for another 2 years for my 3 units ... I feel they are safe using AVAST. Thanks for an outstanding product..

before I did not like avast because it's slow my Pc but this time around, they do an upgrade program that very fast and efficient. Actually I'm one of those PC Tech Guy. trying to look a hole made by avast but I can't find any, what I do like most is the SafeZone they made.

And It block all the viruses and annoying pop up's... I love this guys. thank's avast
