    "Misleading Reviewers"

    April 30, 2008  |   By Vanillaman

Has to be better that the new crippling AVG Free 8.0. However, the other reviewers are misleading you, as "Avast never has and still DOES NOT include antispyware scans. These fools are just misleading people. Take a look at the CNET Video - No mention of new antispyware feature.

Great, if certain reviewers knew what they were talking about, as it DOES NOT HAVE A NEW ANTISPYWARE feature.

OH you 2 people that say it does not have it, are lost.

and do not understand that it is "built -in"

you don't think the engine can do both.

Who DOES NOT KNOW what he/she is talking about.

He/She is the fool they described.

Because CNET OR the Video does not mention it means it does not have certain functions or abilites ? WRONG!!!!

    Read thier website.

avast! now comes with a built-in anti-spyware protection

new self-defense function to prevent active malware from

terminating avast! processes as well as corrupting avast! files

    and registry items)

You should always click on the name of the mfr and check out thier website to get the full details of releases.

He is right you fools, just because the website says so doesn't necessarily mean it is true. Have you people actually used avast yourself? Have you actually tried to use the anti spyware feature? I don't think so, because there is NO bloody option or feature since i have been using avast since a year now and update and i assure you it is only good for anti-virus protection.

If you go to their homepage you will find this: avast! antivirus v4.8 represents a multi-award winning solution to virus protection, with anti-spyware and anti-rootkit software built in for added security.

instead of accusing others of misleading people, give a visit to their homepage.

you'll clearly see a mention of anti-spyware module in the latest version.
