Pros: avast! is low on memory usage and offers a good variety of options for both novice and advanced users to choose from. What I liked most was that avast! offers rookit and spyware (some) detection in addition to virus scanning.
What amazed me was that avast! offers more "shields" than any other AV program. Maybe not shields, but a decent security add-on.
avast! promoted it's product with the "Animation vs. Animator 2" which was well done with Flash. Pretty Good.
Cons: First time users may have a hard time finding their way. avast! should have a modern GUI.

"Really The Best & Leaves The Others To Rest"
Pros: Avast? Its an excellent program. Easy to download, easy to install, easy to set-up. It does a fantastic job, and its FREE. What more can you ask for?? my opinion.

Cons: anti rootkit and anti spyware sucks it didnt remove 2 bho , 8 adware 2 rat, 2 downloaders
