"Best av u can get for free"

Pros
First of all it's very light on resources.Automatic updates,wep shield,standard shield,p2p shield..list goes on.Once u install u just forget about it and viruses,it's gona do all the job in the background.
Cons
I don't think this program has any..u can change the interface if u don't like it(only av that has skins),the sound of updating vdb can be turned off.Registering it is not that hard u know(takes about 1-2 min).No..no cons
Summary
There r 3 big av's..avast!=prevents,avira=finds viruses already on pc,AVG=has a nice healing feature.U just have to pick what suits u..
