"This is the only free antivirus worth your time"
Version: Avast Home Edition - Free Antivirus 4.8.1351
Pros
It scans and updates by itself all the time, and does not freeze or fail to work. Has a resident shield amongst other protections. An American male voice announces when the "virus database has been updated".
Cons
It took me a while before I downloaded this, I had to experience Norton, McAfee, AVG Free and Avira before I downloaded this. I wish I had downloaded this version and stuck with it.
Summary
Get this while they haven't borked it with a new feature or removed anything good.
