    "Is it free ?! Is it good ?"

    "Free" means to use it for ever by no charge .Is it so ?

    See this independant antivirus tests at http://www.av-test.org/en/tests/home-user/windows-7/sepoct-2012/ .Good but not enough .There are other ahead .

    Yes it is so, you can use avast for free for life. Just register once a year.
