  "YUK! YUK! YUK! why no zero of star rating?"

  Pros

  Stopped installation before it completed - I'll never know if it has any Pros until they change installation process to give me the CHOICE of installing Add-ons

  Cons

  No idea, tried to stop installation when it insisted on installing Google Chrome which I did not ask for.

  Summary

  Tried to stop install when Avast started UNREQUESTED install of Google Chrome.
  Didn't take any notice, so I ended up having to try to un-install both Avast and Chrome.
  Do I go back to AVG and see if it will install without continually wanting to reboot or what...

  All you have to do is check a little box and Chrome won't be installed. It's the same idea that other programs use, just pay attention.

  At the beginning of the installation there are two checkboxes that ask if you want to install Chrome with Avast. Simply uncheck the top one and hit express install and you won't get Chrome with Avast.
