Version: Avast Antivirus 2.74
"It worked for me - after a fashion"
Pros: easy install
simple interfaceCons: incredibly slow. need to switch off many default settings but still it calls up mail
Summary: It did what I wanted but took a long time to scan 250 GB. - left it to run over the weekend. First trial would not fix viruses and gave unhelpful messages. Downloaded update and then it would. Can't see why this should be but it did work and found the worms I was looking for. Best used to scan specific folders where you know there is trouble rather than a whole system
