Version: Avant Browser 11.6 build 20

Pros: - Nice to use
- Intensive efforts of the author to keep AB improving
- Many user options
- Useful tools, easy to use
- You can make a substitute for long Url's in address bar. e.g. You could surf to the Avantbrowser's forum just typing 'abf'
- Options for different layouts
- Active user forum.
Cons: - Documentation. User manual
- Updates to latest version is a pain. No explanation how to update without loss of your settings. The author is giving you a choice (without any further details) This creates a serious problem for keeping your settings if you make an uninstall first. You should install an update "over" the current one to avoid this problem.
- Bookmarks are somehow special. You can use your IE "favorites" which is what I do. (you can manage them with Explorer, which is easier)
- The bookmarks "Groups" is something special, with special features. Previous versions of AB showed Groups in the main menu. It was easier to use as today, being integrated under Favorites.
- Closing the program actually not "close" the program. It is still "running" in the background. This behaviour you can like or dislike. One doesn't need to launch again AB when needed. If you want to close AB completely, you can do it with 2 mouseclicks more.
