Pros: it's fast and i like the look also..

Version: Avant Browser 11 build 46
"No longer a good alternative"
Pros: Tabbed browsing.
Cons: This use to be a very good product BEFORE the 11.x release. Now its crap, total crap. When I upgraded it blew out all my settings and was very buggy. It also installed spyware. Its just plain bad. I uninstalled it and went to IE7. Although its not perfect, I'm very happy I with it.

"Wait for more stable version and stay with old one"
Cons: It makes windows unstable. I had to delete and go to earlier version.
Extra step to change to google or other search engines.
This version offers its own password keeper instead of Roboform. I do not know how safe it is and how it works.

Pros: nothing
Cons: Seemed to download ok, but every time I tried to open it I got an error message and my computer froze up.

"IE on steroids, without the side effects"
Pros: The functionality of IE, without the security holes, and with tabbed browsing and a built-in, non crappy, pop-up blocker.
