CNET Editors' review
This add-on enhances the functionality of Microsoft Office's built-in spelling checker by adding support for multiple languages. We'd suggest reading the Internet help file that launches after installation, as you must disable the grammar option in your spell-checking utility for AutoSpell Dictionary Expander to function properly. The application supports a number of foreign languages, including Spanish, Italian, French, German, and Norwegian. In our tests, the program worked just fine with both Spanish and French, catching several errors in spelling right away. The app sits in your system tray, but clicking the icon doesn't provide access to many of the settings, so you'll need to perform most configurations in Word, Excel, or whatever Office app you're using. Although we doubt folks doing average word-processing chores will see much benefit, translators and similarly employed people likely will find it useful.Publisher's Description
