Publisher's description
From Duckware :AutoRun Slideshow is an ultra-small slide-show viewer that allows you to create self-contained slide-show disks, ZIP disks, or autorun CDs. You don't need to install Slideshow before running it. Simply place the EXE file on a disk along with your images (JPEG, GIF, or BMP) and videos (MPEG or AVI), and you have an instant slide show. Multiple slide shows per disk are supported. Shows can have background music (MP3, MIDI, RMI, WAV, or AU), and images can have voice-over (sound) and text annotations. An included graphical authoring tool, MakeSlideShow, makes creating slide shows point-and-click easy.
Version 5.0c may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Version: AutoRun Slideshow 5.0c
Pros: small file size, auto run feature a good idea, simple installation (and un-install!)
Cons: the demo version is a waste of time, when you try to run a slide show a banner is printed right across the centre of the photograph which says "UNREGISTERED VERSION". This totally ruins the slideshow. I guess this is done so that you will part with your money and get the full version, but $30 is really expensive for a very simple program! In the end I downloaded a FREE slideshow screensaver which did all I needed it to do. i.e. show a slideshow on screen (with transition effects) and nothing more. Also this software is not a user friendly as it could be, and takes a little getting used to (the drag and drop function needs improving as you end up moving files instead of copying them). However, after saying this it is simple to install and remove, so perhaps you should try it to see how it suits you. Good luck
