I’ve never had any formal training in programming, but I wanted to make software, professional quality software. The wide feature set and rich media compatibility of AutoPlay Media Studio, made it happen. The speed at which I am able to put together my software, amazes the ‘professional’ programmers I know. Version 5 has really taken this power to a new level, and Indigo Rose’s top-notch users forums mean you’re never alone if you can’t figure out how to program something.
To speed up the ‘shipping date’ of my software even further, I can share code with Setup Factory, the companies ‘Best in Class’ software installation builder, and I’m suddenly up playing with the ‘Big Boys’ of software publishing. This is rapid application development at its best. -

AMS 5 Pro makes a novice programmer like me look like an expert. -

AMS 5 is an amazing authoring tool for Windows multimedia. The way that it inherently taps into the Windows operating systems is so effortless, you'll wonder why no other software manufacturer makes it this easy. Add to that the harnessing of the open source LUA programming language, and you've got a recipe for one incredible tool.
We've used it to build everything from simple multimedia business cards to full-blown database driven applications that interface with the web.
Picking it up at first is easy and deceiving - AMS has that wonderful combination of ease of use and a deep feature set. Don't let it's simplicity lure you into thinking this isn't probably the most intriguing authoring software available today.
If Indigo Rose could add Mac OS X compatibility for AMS created runtimes, this would be the ultimate multimedia authoring tool . But as it stands already - it's pretty darned close.
