"Caution!!! Read "All versions" negative reviews first"
Pros: It has a nice looking interface. But that's it. I've done quite a bit research on this app. The company literally bribes many users into giving this app a five star rating.
Cons: Read All negative comments from user reviews on the All-versions link BEFORE downloading Advanced file lock to understand what you are in for with this product!!!
Summary: My personal experience: Having forgotten (AutoKrypt thinks so) the unlock password for AutoKrypt 8.10, it locked the computer up! I had to Force restart computer (not good for system stability) which allowed the computer to operate, but I still can't... read more

Pros: Appears to be powerful
Cons: Entirely too complicated. The app is skinned like a Unix app so it seems a bit foreign. Web site tutorials were not as descriptive as I needed.
Summary: This would probably be useful for someone that is doing a lot of encryption tasks that would benefit from batch automation, or maybe even some other type power users.I, however, am not a power user. I just want to encrypt an occasional file. I dont w... read more
