"EXTREMELY PLEASED"
Pros
Easy to use; EULA inspires confidence that the company cares about the integrity of its product; found over 800 errors, all of which it repaired in a flash without any further purchase, detailed log included; definite improvement in performance.
Cons
Log is kept online and in order to keep a printed copy for yourself you need to copy it and paste it into a document yourself.
Summary
Things were looking very good at the outset when I read the EULA: its language and terms made it very clear that the creators cared very much about their product and its integrity. Experience proved that this first impression was the right impression.
Please delete my review of Auslogics Disk Defrag -- I have never used this product. I was taken to the wrong page and thought I was reviewing Auslogics Registry Defrag, which I have used.
The interface is extremely easy to use and the scan itself took very little time (under 2 minutes). It found over 800 errors but the report refrained from overstating the amount of improvement fixing these errors would provide (2%). Another positive indicator of integrity.
It took less than 1 minute to fix all errors and provided a vey detailed report of what had been changed. My only criticism is that the report is generated online and, unless I missed it, there was no downloadable printable version you could save to your computer for your own records. I was able to overcome this problem by copying and pasting the report into a document.
Given this very positive experience, I would not hesitate to purchase and/or download other products from Auslogics and have bookmarked them for future reference. Product integrity was key for me: they didn't strong arm me by inducing me to download a truncated product that would not accomplish anything for me unless I made a purchase, they did not promise more than they could deliver and they delivered what they promised.
