Version: Auslogics Disk Defrag 1.1.3
"Software seems EXCELLENT, but Company is M.I.A."
Pros: I just downloaded Auslogic's disk defragmenter. I scaned the installer with AVG on my XP Pro desktop, which reported no problems. Windows Defender and CleanMyPC are both watching for malware, changes to my registry, BHOs, etc. No problems reported. I installed and ran the program under Windows Vista Home Premium on my Toshiba laptop. Again, flawless execution and no complaints from the Vista malware monitoring programs. This appears to be a really well-done program. It is mind-blowingly fast (take note, Microsoft)! Best of all, it will run with LESS THAN 5% free disk space on the volume to be defragmented. And run FAST under those challenging conditions.
Cons: There's just one teeny-tiny problem: the company's Web site is M.I.A. It was just there the day before yesterday, yesterday attempts to reach it just timed out, but now its gone -- replaced by an "account suspended" notice from the ISP. I also see that CNET Download.com comes up empty when I search on the company's name. This was not the case just 24 hours ago. Does anybody know what's up? I'm going to continue to use the program until I hear (or find) it's cleverly-disguised malware.

Version: Auslogics Disk Defrag 1.1.3
Pros: Quick, simple, effective. Makes the native windows defrag tool look very silly indeed. This one just gets on with it; no daft restarts; no hassle.
