    "Cannot install 4.3.8.0"

    April 4, 2014  |   By JohnUSA9

Version: Auslogics Disk Defrag Pro 4.3.8

    Pros

    Older versions were good

    Cons

I cannot install this new 4.3.8.0 version.
Keeps hanging up near the end of installation.
Auslogics needs to fix it ASAP.

    Summary

Cannot use it without a proper installation.

    "Still a great professional defragger"

    February 4, 2014  |   By tjazzzzz

Version: Auslogics Disk Defrag Pro 4.3.6

    Pros

Tons & tons of options for those who love tweaking their computers

    Cons

    none for me

    Summary

I have had to contact Auslogics regarding a different product (one of their free ones actually) and they were prompt and helpful in their response. Seems like the previous reviewer is talking about a different company than the one I dealt with. I have written them both via email and through their facebook page and they replied both ways. Never a problem with any of my licenses (and I've bought quite a number from this company over the years). Auslogics has earned my personal trust and support.

    "Its The Company"

    January 31, 2014  |   By BearPuppy

Version: Auslogics Disk Defrag Pro 4.3.6

    Pros

Make no mistake, the product itself is fine, and I've used it for many years.

    Cons

The problem, and the reason for the 1 star rating, is the company. For years when you purchased a license it was for a lifetime; now they've switched to a 1-year license model. OK, fine, a 'too bad' decision, but one they're entitled to make.

What isn't OK is their unwillingness to honor a 1 year license, which I entered on October of 2013. By their own terms this should enable me to have updates until October 2014 (9 months from when I'm writing this review). They haven't even acknowledge the polite email I sent asking them to honor their own license.

    Summary

The attitude embodied by Auslogic's unwillingness to honor their own license terms is something I'm unwilling to partake in. I now use Wise Disk Defrag in their free tool Wise Disk Cleaner. So far I've found it a speedy and quite usable product. Goodbye Auslogic, I don't do business with crooks.

    "Another great program from Auslogics"

    January 19, 2014  |   By Tom-o-Hawk

Version: Auslogics Disk Defrag Pro 4.0.1.50

    Pros

I actually won a license to this program and only have it on one of my computers, but it's the same as a paid version and it works just as great. The number of features included is really impressive. Defrags system files on bootup.

    Cons

Its extensive functionality can be a con, especially for novice users who may not know the terms used or what each feature is good for. Auslogics tries to provide explanations in the program, but since space is limited, it will still take you time to get the hang of this program.

    Summary

A perfect tool for professionals or amateurs who like tinkering with their PCs.

    "Seems fine."

    February 17, 2013  |   By westendal

Version: Auslogics Disk Defrag Pro 4.2.2

    Pros

Works OK as straight-forward defragmenter, and provides lots of statistics, some of which are actually understandable.

    Cons

Can't quite figure out everything else it claims it can do.

    Summary

Worth the price if you want a change of pace, and look, from Microsoft and Norton.

    "Fast & Simple."

    October 21, 2012  |   By BearPuppy

Version: Auslogics Disk Defrag Pro 4.0.1.50

    Pros

Its easy to use, but its best feature is its speed. Defragging takes only a few minutes on a 1/2 Terabyte Drive.

    Cons

The interface is a bit cluttered and needs to be cleaned up by Auslogics.

    Summary

The best I've used yet. Makes defragging worthwhile.

"Great defragger with tons of options"

    July 13, 2012  |   By tjazzzzz

Version: Auslogics Disk Defrag Pro 4.0.1.50

    Pros

Lots of optimization options, scheduling options, cluster map appearance options, reports and graphs.
Works just as fast as the free defragger from Auslogics.
    Has boot-time defrag.
A solid and stable piece of software.

    Cons

Some of the square colors on the default cluster map are hard to tell apart.
