"It used to be a great product"

    March 24, 2015  |

    Version: Auslogics BoostSpeed 7.5.0

    Pros

At the moment, I'm so disgusted with their adware and always trying to shove another product down your through, I don't have positives.

    Cons

Hidden adware that screws up Auslogics boostspeed....(caught be Avast bootscah) what's the point of speeding up your computer, when their own product slow your computer down by adware.

    Summary

    Don't waste your money.

    "Bait and Switch"

    March 23, 2015  |   By wildweasel41

    Version: Auslogics BoostSpeed 7.5.0

    Pros

    Not much any more

    Cons

Had the older versions and all was nice. \my subscription ran out and figured I would upgrade to the newer version. New version cut out my old version, dumped all the features I had paid for and now mandates payment for the same service.

    Summary

Auslogic was a fine program, but has gotten greedy. I have had it for many years and would try a free system for about 6 months and then purchase the full version (1 year) after. Once that subscription ended, I would try the newer version and then once again purchase the upgrade. Now when you upgrade you lose ALL the features which you purchased on your earlier model.

Simply think of it like this. You buy a car, but when you change the oil you can no longer use the air conditioning you paid for before. You are now required to buy a new air conditioner. But worse yet auslogic is now like this. You drive your paid for car into the showroom of a car dealer. You want to look around at a new car. You chose not to buy today and go back to your old (paid for car) and find out that by driving onto the lot many of the features of your old car no longer work. By going onto the lot you screwed yourself - THAT IS AUSLOGIC NOW!

"Good program with some inconveniences (ver. 7.8.1.0)"

    March 15, 2015  |   By Eugenvariation

    Version: Auslogics BoostSpeed 7.5.0

    Pros

    1. Easy to use and navigate
    2. Good tools for cleaning junk and temporary files
    3. Good disk defrag
    4. Does all the tasks you could do using built-in Windows service programs faster and easier

    Cons

    1. The main disadvantage of the latest versions are those irritating window pop-ups (notifications) by "Live Speedup" which constantly interfere with the process of playing games and watching video. These info windows (for example that some processes have been optimized on your PC) appear above your main window and don't disappear unless you click on them. You cannot disable these notifications in the settings. This is extremely irritating when you watch video or play a game!
    2. I don't like the Auction Center which advertises other products of Auslogics. I would prefer to receive extra advertisement from Auslogics via e-mail rather than via the program I've purchased.

    Summary

Please fix the bug with Live Speedup notification windows - they are really annoying!

On the whole the software is very functional and easy to use.
