This oversimple DVD-authoring package offers three tools necessary for making a basic video disc: a video converter, a menu creator, and a burner. Aurora Video VCD/SVCD/DVD Converter&Creator's converter can only handle AVI and MPEG formats, but it lets you output video in AVI and various flavors of MPEG: VCD, SVCD, and DVD. The creator lets you design rudimentary menus, which amounts to customizing the background and the number of thumbnails. The burner, for its part, does an adequate, though unspectacular job. All in all? We're not impressed. Almost any DVD player will come bundled with better DVD-authoring software than this, and if not, you can buy a superior program for the same price or less than this one. Download this demo if you're desperate to knock out a quick DVD (the trial lets you make three), but we wouldn't recommend paying for the registered version.

Bad english;says my e: drive is a:, crashes, etc. tried 2 of their products...pure amateur-- what editor reviewed this???!!!

I followed all of the instructions as well as prompts to download plug ins and update drivers, but was unable to make the program work.

Well I guess it could do any of the other jobs it looks capable of doing...

but when you are after certain claimed features that after downloading and running are not there, makes it a huge waste of time and bandwidth
