"The most solid '2' I've ever rated software"

    by Overkill97 on July 20, 2006

Pros: Supposedly, you can create your own dvd menu by uploading a picture for a background with the scenes showing up as thumbnails.

It's simple to figure out and I know it works, cause I was able to play a 2 minute movie on my dvd player.

Cons: This thing takes forever! And it doesn't let you know how much longer it's going to take. I'm in the middle of burning a 85mb compilation and it just passed 4 hours that it's been running... still not done.

I've been looking at this text that says Create DVD Structure... for at least an hour now with no indicator as to how much longer it's going to take. It tells you up until that step for some reason. But then, nothing.

It's a good overall concept, the demo of the title menu looks really professional, but I would have called this one the alpha version. It has too many problems.

"this is an update on my previous review"

by bustarr on March 13, 2005

Pros: i just finished burning my dvd using this product and i realized that it was a better product than i expected. although it needs some improvements on speed, i checked other programs similar to this one and most of them aren't as good as this one. but there are some other products that are much faster and advanced than this. if your computer cannot handle advanced products, then i recommend this program to you. aurora mpeg to dvd burner allows you to burn your dvds in simple steps. you don't have to be a computer genius to figure this one out. the steps are very easy. it also supports most video files. it takes about a couple of hours to finish creating a disk, if your computer has high speed.

this product deserves more than my last review so i give it a good rating from the previous 2, into 4 our 5.

    "GARBAGE"

by sarahsix on January 26, 2007

Pros: It looked cool at first, and seemed pretty easy. That was about it.

Cons: EVERYTHING! For one, it took about 3 1/2 hours to "burn" my dvd....after that, i found out that it didnt even burn anything on my dvd!!!! And when it told me to find the medium, and i tried to do so, it wouldnt let me. it kept saying "medium not found". I wouldnt let my cat use this program.

"Just what I am looking for, but my DVD players don't like the menus. :("

by Gusset on April 11, 2006

Pros: - Simple to use. I didn't need to know very much at all to get going.

    - It allows the user to select aspect ratio for converting the files.

    - You can select which frame of an mpeg file to use for the chapter menu thumbnail.

    - Audio/video sync of the DVD looked better than when I played the mpeg files on Windows Media Player.

Cons: - On 2 out of 3 of my DVD players, I was unable to use the menus to select a chapter to play. I had to totally bypass the menus to play the video. I tried simplifying things and re-burning the disk, but no help. (My third DVD player was able to use the menus, but audio/video sync was way off. I'm pretty sure this was the player's problem, not Aurora's).

"this product needs more improvement on speed."

by bustarr on March 9, 2005

Pros: what i like about this product is that you can create your own menu for your dvd.

Cons: the product needs to improve its speed. it usualy take about 2-3 hours for the process to be completed. i recommend that users for this product to save the temporary files into the disk drive which has the most space because it takes huge space in your c drive.
