"One of the better ones if you tweak it"
Version: Aura Video Converter Professional 1.2.7
Pros
It converts almost any video but won't convert some. However, other converters won't convert them either. It supports subtitles. The video output in most formats is beautiful if you use the right settings.
Cons
doesn't handle all subtitles that well and half the time you can't get them to work or work the way you want them to. The audio can be slightly to very out of sync if you don't do any tweaking.
Summary
The main problem I've had with this software is an audio video sync issue. I almost gave up. I uninstalled several times but I always ended up reinstalling. I already paid for the product and I sort of felt the need to get it working. The sync factor slider in the options for the default sync can only get the audio/video sync in the ballpark, but to get it right you have to go to advanced options and tweak the mencoder options. I found using the tag " -delay 0.3 " fixed my sync issue for the most part.
Also in response to the two that replied: yes, they claim the two sites are the same company. It's re-branding and a lot of software companies do it. Did you notice how they are both the same with different icons? Of course it could also be a hacked any video converter but I doubt it. If it does turn out to be a hacked any video converter I will get rid of. I appreciate you took the time to read and reply though.
I emailed this company for help before that and also asked them why this was similar to Any Video Converter. They told me this is the same company. So, just buy the software from whoever is cheaper. I found by far the aura4you brand has the best deals and value over their other site.
I've tried other converting software such as Format Factory and although that is good and has the features I need it's also pretty buggy. Format Factory is free however. Freemake Video Converter is free as well and does a great job for most videos. I think I like Aura Video Converter the best but that may be because I paid for it.

"time-effective conversion"
Version: Aura Video Converter Professional 1.2.7
Pros
the video is good as the original one, only three simple steps are needed to finish the conversion, and of course, the conversion duration is depending on the length of the video.
Cons
sometimes the conversion is slow, maybe the parameter setting is abnormal or not correct or the performance of the computer is not that good enough. Consequently, you really need a good computer to make your video conversion satisfied.
Summary
Free version always got pop-up, I don't like that, and 3-minute conversion trial is rather limited, why not half an hour?? So that I could have a general understanding of the software.

"good video conversion, poor audio"
Version: Aura Video Converter Professional 1.2.7
Pros
The video conversion is great. Videos look as good in the new format as they did in the old. Also, it's simple, easy to understand and use.
Cons
The audio quality is a crap shoot. Sometimes it's alright... ish, and other times your audio winds up all clicky-poppy in the new format. For me it was about 30% alright, 70% unusable on the audio in the videos.
Summary
I used the free version (v. 1.2.8), and maybe that's why it didn't do so well. A pop-up kept asking if I wanted the professional version of the software. It's possible it performs better in keeping audio quality, but truth be told, I don't believe I'm keen on spending a penny shy of $50 to find out.
The only output format that consistently performed well for audio was .avi.
