"Works for me"
Pros
Records so far
Cons
I am impatient and working it on my own instead of reading the manual that popped up when i first opened the program. So editor took some playing with for about 5 min to figure out.
Summary
Last editor I used was my sound recorder on my system with XP64. I don't remember if it came with XP or I got it off a download but the sound recorder that came with my new windows7 system has no editor what so ever, can't even cut the beginning and end off recording so I got this and it records so far and as soon as this first song is done I will find out about editing and changing formats as I used to do..
to continue, I found you need to highlight what you want to delete and then delete it.
for those of you with Windows& you need to get a jack wire from like radio shack for $15 and run it from your speaker to your mic then you need to go to your control panel and click on the sound properties and tell it to find disabled devices and then use that disabled one as your default. from there it was a mater of tweaking til I heard sound through my recording device. Be sure and open a new program from file before rerecording, so far all I found when you rewind to start over is that you record on top of previous if not a new window

scratch the last reply, instead of just "save as" you need to "export to" and then it gives you many choices of format to choose from

looks like I will have to read the instructions to find out if I can turn a recording from a wav to an mp3 format
