...music mixers, karaoke fanatics, podcast rippers, podcast producers, and anyone who ever wanted to record, edit, and export audio. Ever. Need I say more?

Pros
Easy-to-use GUI (very intuitive), and a lot of features including a sound mixer. First time I tried to use JetAudio Basic for mixing sound, but then realized that it only allows 10 secs. (requires to pay almost 30 bucks for full version.) Then, I have found Audacity. Very nice features and full functional too!
Cons
So far, nothing!

Great software. Allows you to fully edit sounds, create sounds, open sounds, export as many different kinds of file formats. Allows for multiple sounds, placements of sound. Options are very wide.
Small download for so much and so useful program. Recomended, definitely.
Cons
Took some time to get used, but once used to, it works a wonders.

Excellent! Does what it says, easy to use.
Cons
Asks you to locate the "LAME" encoder file the first time you try to export your edited MP3. This was not very difficult, I just ran a search for it and found it in 30 seconds.

This is PERFECT for what i needed it for.
Slowing down music without changing the sound to that very deep bassy mess that most programs do.
Cons
This is a fairly simple program, doesnt have alot of features, very simple interface, and you need to download seperate thing to export files as mp3.
