Pros: This was once a great program.
Cons: As far as I'm concerned, when these people bought Auction Sentry from Dan Hite, the original; developer, they screwed it up big time. What was once a very functional tool became unmanageable and they had the nerve to charge me money. Caveat emptor!
Summary: I don't like it because when I installed the verion issued after Dan Hite sold it to the new owners, it just didn't work right. I relied on AC. That cost me a lot of money. read more

"Not worth the effort to load on your system"
Pros: The advertising was great!
Cons: After set up, lost the next three E-bay bids to other bidders. My bids didn't get posted using a 30 second setpoint.
Summary: Try Server Bidder - Ace Sniper - it's much better and more reliable. read more

Version: Auction Sentry Standard 3.2.0
Pros: Was the best around until the past few months.
Cons: Can no longer use it with ebay UK as it only works with dollars. UK customers should be told at the point of purchase that this intended for US markets only. My older version worked fine with UK Sterling until it was updated.
Summary: Look for alternatives. Avoid until all the bugs are sorted out. read more

"Do not use -- defective, not supported anymore"
Pros: I used it since 2001. It was the best around for years. Easy to add auctions, great sniping, status was indicated correctly if you won, lost or did not meet reserve. But no longer, see cons below
Cons: Lately, Auction Sentry no longer works well -- and there is apparently nobody supporting it. . 4 bugs: won't accept some auction listings , wrong bid count, no update if winning, and colors used to flag status don't work. It's useless to me.
Summary: I used to love it, but the company appears to be not supporting it, and it now has 4 serious bugs that make it useless. read more
