"Excellent sound, and radio stations to boot!"

    March 18, 2014  |   By ok4mi2

    Version: AtomicPlayer 3.0.5.37

    Pros

If other audio players sound this good, I have yet to hear one. Especially good compared to listening to YouTube directly online (a different problem but what is it with that bad reception? Is it me?)

    Cons

None really. Maybe something or another, surely, as it is no doubt not perfect but I don't see anything so far.

    Summary

Really good sound. No video capabilities, strictly sound and it has controls and equalizer with more settings available than on other free units I have played.

    "Well Done!"

    March 24, 2012  |   By smithiang

    Version: AtomicPlayer 3.0.5.37

    Pros

    - Clean, easy interface
    - No adds or upgrade now eye garbage
    - Very high quality audio playback
    - Seems to play everything -tested wma, flac, mp3

    Cons

    - Takes longer than winamp to load music collection
    - Had to manually choose audio output device. The default didn't work
    - had to deselect "volume is windows master" to make volume controls work
    - feels a little like beta.

    Summary

    better than:
    quicktime
    windows media player /center
    winamp

    not as good as amarok

    Updated on Mar 25, 2012

** the free version doesn't save your music collection after closing the program **

"How Novel, A media player that doesn't play any media!"

    March 14, 2012  |   By gazzerjay

    Version: AtomicPlayer 3.0.5.37

    Pros

Good screen layout and easy to import files

    Cons

    It doesn't play .mp3, mp4, avi. wma. or Ogg...etc

    Summary

I tried the most popular file types and clicked the play button. The time/length was displayed but that's all. I doubt the "Premium" version will be any better. Quux have been recommended to me by friends, but this offering is not exactly a good experience for me. This time I think I'll pass!

    "Doesn't work!"

    March 12, 2012  |   By GCG1000

    Version: AtomicPlayer 3.0.5.37

    Pros

    Nice GUI and nothing else.

    Cons

NO sound, except an annoying hiss from my speakers! Other players work fine. Unresponsive customer support.

    Summary

Do get it until they fix it so it runs properly under Win 7!
