"This One Is My Favorite"
Version: Atlantis Word Processor 1.6.5.10
Pros
Has a great 'feel' about it. Simple to use, not bloated, yet seems to have almost everything I need.
Cons
Lacks ability to create macros.
Summary
For my needs I found this the most 'comfortable' word processor to work with. It's biggest drawback for me is its lack of a macro record feature. I find Word 2007 and newer as having too much, though I was okay with Word 2003 and earlier. Open Office and Libre, though free, lack a 'nice feel', in addition to lacking macro record ability (at least on my version) and paragraph/tab/ etc symbols for Find and Replace. In short, if Atlantis allowed Macro recording, I would gladly shell out the $35 asking price.

"Good autocompletion"
Version: Atlantis Word Processor 1.6.5.10
Pros
It is a very word processor. It has an autocompletion feature.
Cons
I believe this is the program that learns new autocompletion words automatically. The problem is that learns wrong words too and then you have to remove them manually which is very time consuming and defeats the purpose of saving time. I think that I why I stopped using this program and then the program expired. I decided to uninstall it. I prefer CesarUSA Text Editor BS2 (from CesarUSA.com) for the autocompletions because it is very easy to work with autocompletion lists and does autocompletions in multiple languages.

"great product for the price"
Version: Atlantis Word Processor 1.6.5.8
Pros
I use this to convert Word 2007 files into epub for upload to Barnes & Nobles Nook and Kobo epublishing. IU tried some other software and found this to be the best for that purpose. Usually I convert from html to kindle format but I found that Atlantis does a great job from docx format to epub.
Cons
Make sure you go through the manual since some of the features are hidden under the dash and you won't find them without using the manual.

"A powerful, lightweight word processor"
Version: Atlantis Word Processor 1.6.5.7
Pros
Amazing outline function that is far easier to use than word, an utter lack of bloat, full customization for hot-keys, auto-correct (sorry Google Docs!), ability to deal with VERY large documents.
Cons
Don't even bother trying to deal with pictures, no table
Summary
I was a huge OneNote fan until I found this program. If you deal with large files and want a cool way to organize them, the outline function really is an amazing way to do that. I use it as a sort of database. For all of you addicted to free, you'll be amazed how much faster you can write with this inexpensive program.
Highly recommended. -
"Good alternative to Word"
Version: Atlantis Word Processor 1.6.5.3
Pros
Has many useful features, compact, easy to use.
Cons
Maybe a bit plain looking
Summary
Overall it is a solid word processor.

"Decent for its size"
Version: Atlantis Word Processor 1.6.5.2
Pros
Small app size, supports MS Word DOC/DOCX files (via options in the program menu), lean and easy program navigation via toolbar and menus.
Cons
Lacks PDF support.
Summary
I've used this program on and off for the last several years, and compared to the bigger WP apps out there (esp. with Office and Open Office), it's the fastest and most efficient of them all. I like its lean and easy navigation via toolbar and menu, and it has everything you'd need in a basic, no-frills word processor. The only drawback is its lack of PDF file support, but aside from that it's a keeper.

"It sure beats Microsoft Word"
Version: Atlantis Word Processor 1.6.5.1
Pros
Has a lot of the features of Microsoft Word, yet it is way more simple to use.
Very user friendly.Cons
None, really.
Summary
I canned Microsoft Word because it was tedious and annoying. Atlantis is so much better.
The only drawbacks to Atlantis is that there are some features that haven't surfaced in the program yet, like tables and such. But I am sure that will come with later updates in the future.
The sound effects when you are typing and clicking in the program are fun but CAN get a little annoying if you've been typing for awhile or just aren't in a good mood. But I like them. :) -
"Nice Alternative to Microsoft Word"
Version: Atlantis Word Processor 1.6.5.1
Pros
Alternative to Microsoft Word with most of the features but not all the advanced ones.
Cons
None that I found although I did have to turn off the sound, it got really annoying.
Summary
If you only use word this is a great product which I use a lot and nobody knows . I only wish there were the same alternative for Excel.
