Easy, intuitive, user-friendly access to all functions
AstroMart calculates astrological charts and includes text analysis files, tables, graphics.
This program comes with more than 20 different graphics.
It provides the following functions: birth charts with tables, interpretations and graphics, horoscopes with specific graphics and texts, love charts with interpretations, transits, love charts, progressions, and sun and moon returns. There are data bases for localities all over the world, countries, states, and time zones. The interface can be switched to any language, thus displaying graphics and texts in that language.
What's new in this version:
Completely new interface with text buttons giving direct access to all functions such as transits, love charts, interpretations and graphics
Tables of data also include glyphs
Help for each function is integrated into the screen
International language and character support (utf8)
free 30-day trial; allows me enough time to determine it was a waste of mine.
confusing to set up, help is limited, print settings need to be configured every time you want to print to a PDF document. Took me nearly an hour to learn to adjust the wheel and doesn't have computations for new signs like Chiron.
a nice amateur product that I would be reluctant to buy, unless it came with serious help upgrades.
Large database of cities, quick calculation and drawing of chart.
I can't figure out how to calculate transits or progressions. These options are in the menu but it simply does not work. You can't scroll in menu's, only page-to-page. Counter-intuitive user interface. I gave up.
After 15 minutes of frustration, I gave up. I haven't found any decent astrology software yet. I return to the old-fashion ephemeris and calculator...
Very technical, comprehensive program & highly customizable.
Eventhough it says that this program is also for Beginners, I can't agree with that statement - unless this program is used in conjuction with an outside reference book. The "Help" section doesn't help you with much except the particular dialog box you are working with - not it's contents.
