Version: Ashampoo WinOptimizer 3
"The only utility you will ever need!"
Pros: Ashampoo WinOptimizer platinum does it all. It cleans and repairs your pc with just one click. It's quick and simple to use. It gets rid of useless junk in your registry and frees up valuable space on your pc, making your pc run faster and smoother. This new version has added a disk defragmenter which is much more efficient then the built in windows defragmenter. There is also an option to tweak your windows for even better perfomance. The internet cleaner works for all browsers, not just IE. I recommend you download the full function free trial and speed up your pc. 5 Stars and Two thumbs Up!

Version: Ashampoo WinOptimizer 4.3
"A long time favorite of mine, and now works with Vista!"
Pros: I had been waiting for a good optimizer that would work with my Vista, and Ashampoo came to the call with flying colors. Not only does it clean your registry, but you can tweak your Windows system settings for better performance, and defrag your hard drive, too! Try Ashampoo WinOptimizer 4.3 free for 40 days and speed up your Vista os!

Version: Ashampoo WinOptimizer 5.0
"It looks like they did a nice job."
Pros: It looks like they did a nice job but it's to early to know for sure. It might be a tad confusing to those of us who have used version four for forever but everything in version 4 is there and some, including what seems like a couple modules similar to the new version of Power up. It's faster at completing it's tasks and as usual with Ashampoo, it looks great. The defrag module corrected a file system error that had been nagging me for a month.
Cons: At this time, I'd recommend waiting to buy this program. Like always, it's over priced when first released. Wait for your "make us an offer" email or wait until they offer you an upgrade price, they will!

Version: Ashampoo WinOptimizer 3.05
Pros: Excellent registry tool &
not only .
Works fast & precise , it won't find false
positive . Perfectly compatibile with WINDOWS OS(
just like quite all Ashampoo softwares) , it
won't disrupt any other process running .
Good even concerning RAM usage : not few RAM needed but
also not too much , considring its efficient work .
It's not lightweight(over 26Mbytes) ,
comparing to other tools(Winaso 6Mbytes-Ccleaner 1.36Mbytes) ,
this is for big number of features in it .
1-click-optimization + 4 categories in main window :
1 Cleaning tools (drive cleaner-reg cleaner-internet cleaner)
2 Tuning tools (startup tuner-ip spam blocker-windows function)
3 File tools (diskspace explorer-file wiper-
file splitter & joiner)
4 Tweaking tools (system info-tweaking-defrag)
Updates & detailed informations in help service .
Features allow to personalize even WINDOWS OS .
Really effective tool but not so easy to use (except
for 1-click-optimization) .
I strongly recommend to try .
Cons: After closing it will minimize to startup bar(...boring...) . Expansive

Version: Ashampoo WinOptimizer 4.4
"I paid $10 for it as an upgrade."
Pros: But it is in desperate need of a major update. Was it worth it? Not as a full featured tuning application for "Vista" but I do like the defrag module and that alone made it worth the $10 dollars. The "System Benchmark" is accurate. The GUI is great when I set the blue and black scheme. The process manager is accurate and easy to use. The file encrypter works ok. What I find here is that this is a combination of several other "Ashampoo" applications but in a slimmed down versions. If you can get it as cheap as I did, it's worth having for both "Vista" and "XP".
Cons: The IP spam blocker isn't compatible with "Vista". The file cleaner is dangerous to use on "Vista" and I hate registry cleaners. This application is in major need of a big update. "Ashampoo" spam and their hunger for money make this something to look closely at before you deal with them. I'm so darn mad about them trying to get money out of me for the anti spyware upgrade when I own a valid key with six months left, I may never deal with them again. This is the only company that hes ever pulled this BS on me in my life. I think thats very shady business dealings by them and proves they care more about money then their customers.
