  "Didn't fix what I thought was my problem"

  Pros

  Found a bunch of possible problems in its scan and provides what seems to be a simple way to fix things.

  Cons

  For me at least, the recommended fixes did not solve my issues.

  Summary

  I kept having boot-up problems, getting stuck on the welcome screen. I may be wrong but, based on my research I was having this problem because of registry errors. So, I tried WinOptimizer to clean up my registry. It ran a scan for some 30 minutes and found a bunch of errors. I clicked for it to fix them and rebooted OK - once. I then had the boot-up problems again afterward. So, it didn't appear to help my problem, nor did the software seem to speed things up either.

  "So far, so good, no problems observed"

  Update process defective, purchased, updated, lost license. To date unable to get problem corrected with support.

  Summary

  The program does an awful lot of work within the registry with no explanation of what is being changed and why. Mass deletion of registry entries makes me a little itchy. Ashmpo seems to have a "just trust us" attitude concerning the product. I have not experienced any problems so far, but i would really like to know more about what is going on under the hood.

  "Super software"

  Streamlined, fast, thorough.

  Can't find any

  Summary

  Software is much more thorough than winOptomizer 6 that I've been using for over a year. Ashampoo does a great job on their software.
  Would recommend highly.

  "Very good easy to use software for my pc"

  This easy-to-use suite of tools for maintaining and optimizing my computer. It keeps my Windows installation free of unnecessary garbage and running smoothly while other computers just get slower and slower. :-)

  "Very Good all-in-one Optimization and Cleaning Utility"

  Automatically cleans out privacy traces,registry data, and analyzes auto-start entries and services for redundant or unnecessary entries.

  Cons

  None that I can see.

  Summary

  This is comparable to Advanced SystemCare 4 by IObit. AShampoo puts out good products at good prices. Excellent, really, and this utility is no exception. The graphical interface (GUI) is very intuitive and easy to read. And the user can click on 'details' to see more information on what this utility is cleaning from your system. Optimizes your running services and auto-start entries. And has many more features under the hood - such as a defrag utility and others.
