Pros
You can select all of the slides in the Slide Sorter Panel and change the font to another throughout the whole presentation, then save it as a .PDF file. I changed the font of a file saved in MS PowerPoint and saved it as a Presentations 2008 file.
Cons
Nothing in life is perfect, but if Ashampoo Presentations 2008 could open my old Technical College files saved in PowerPoint 4.3/?94, it would be close to it.
Summary
Ashampoo Presentations 2008 is a very user friendly application. The layout of the interface is excellent and the icons on the toolbars and menus are clear, helpful and colorful. There are many customizable features like having the dictionary and dialogs in another language and setting the rulers, grid and page guides to your liking.
You can select all of the slides in the Slide Sorter Panel and change one font to another throughout the whole presentation, then save it as a .PDF file. I changed the font of a file that had been saved in MS PowerPoint, and saved it as if I had made it from scratch in Ashampoo Presentations 2008.

This by far the best alternate for MS Office Powerpoint and certainly more user friendly and much more cost effective.
