Version: Ashampoo Office 2008 3.10
"I'm baffled by these great reviews."
Pros: Maybe it's just me or maybe it's because I can't stand dealing with this company at all! But I'm just not impressed enough to consider a purchase. Might be good for Vista laptops that don't score well but not for a Vista 5.3 desktop.
Cons: My MS Office has way more features & it's every bit as fast loading as this program.
Summary: I hate dealing with Ashampoo & I hate their spam emails that I get on a regular basis that I haven't been able to unsubscribe from. The only reason I tolerate it is because I love their Photo Commander 7. As far as I'm concerned, everything else they make is crap!

Ashampoo Office 2008 has a bug with Vista. Read the documentation. At the time of this writing, Microsoft had not yet resolved the issue. Sorry to hear you are not happy with their service. As far as their emails go, if you watch them you can often buy the software full versions for dirt-cheap! You can unsubscribne from emails by selecting options on the website. You can also email their customer service. They ALWAYS replay in less than 24 hours! In my opinion, Ashampoo has the BEST customer service and some of the best affordable software on the market! It's a shame you are so quick to wirte off such a good product and a great company.

Sounds like you are a bit of an idiot - for the price this has good value and functionality. It also has portability which is extremely useful - lets see you put your MS Office on a memory stick. Using the word "hate" is just childish - try making a serious comment without the emotive nonsense please!
