I loved this product when I used Vista or XP. It was intuitive and simple to use.
Cons
It does not work with Win7. I confirmed this with Ashampoo--who would not answer the question about an upgrade. My sense is that is sells so poorly that they are not going to bother.

A good product if you need it, AND, if you have an older operating system.

The algorithm adopted is strong and resists to attempt of decrypting.
The philosophy of the program makes coding and decoding simple. Coding is associated with a strong wiping procedure of the originals.Cons
the interface is somehow complex and you need half an hour to understand and use it.

I like it in the fact that Ashampoos Software are professional and the company is excellent with an excellent reputation for quality and trust. Ashampoo Magical Security 2, gives strong protection to not just important files on your hard drive, but also will encrypt files on cd/dvd to, this is handy if you have and want to store private office work or personal detals on a cd/dvd to. Worth buying as it gives peace of mind and with top notch security.
