Version: Ashampoo Magical Defrag 2.34
Pros: The software is simply great! It defragged all my partitions without any fragmented sections even when only 8-20% space was empty. The windows degragment would simply raise its hands and say "Some files could not be defragmented". Also, this nice software works in background monitoring my hard drives. So I don't have to worry much about keeping my hard drive in good shape. And yes, the software takes very little memory and degrags much faster than the Windows defrag.
Cons: I haven't seen any negative points.

Pros: Avec votre Ashampoo® Magical Defrag 2 j?ai réussi à défragmenter une fichier de Acronis TrueImage XXX.tib de 29.721.818 Ko, lequel même le défragmenter de WIN XP il a refusé défragmentation. Continue comme ça.

Version: Ashampoo Magical Defrag 2.34
"I use it because I own a copy."
Pros: I use it because I own a copy but I think the older version (prior to this release) had a better fragmentation guard. It has been the first program I install on a freshly formatted hard drive, mainly to protect my disk from getting badly fragmented. But after I updated, it doesn't do as good at it's task. Old version: after all programs are installed I had maybe 400 to 450 fragmented files. This version, 1400+. It's still a good program and helps a lot.
Cons: Not as good at disk protection as the last version. Doesn't seem as fast either so I use it in combination with AUSLogics free defrag.

"Great Program -- a notable improvement over earlier version!"
Pros: Ashampoo has done it again by offering this most useful program. I like the ease of use and the contuing result. Magical Defrag has become a great
adjunct to my machine.
Cons: There's NOTHING not to like in my estimation

"Set it and forget it works fine!"
Pros: This application, like any "Ashampoo" software can be bought cheap. I bought it for $5.00 thru one of their, "make us an offer" emails that come once in a while after you've been signed up with them for awhile. It has a nice GUI thats user friendly, but to small. This defrag utility can be set for automaticly defrag internal drives and it works on external drives whether of not it's a hard drive or travel drive (thumb drive). I use it to keep my travel drives running good. This is one application by "Ashampoo" that works as described.
Cons: It could use a makeover. I'd like to see a larger, newer looking GUI. Defrag of my external drives is kind of slow. "Ashampoo" is known for spam, and do they ever.
