just try to remove it.....
I wanna install Kaspersky PURE and it indicates to remove it.
Though i uninstalled it completely with REVO also, it lefts some **** file like SPI.DLLSummary
Worst software ever had.....when i installed it hanged my pc very badly....!!!

Summary
I briefly tried 3 free firewalls on WinXP: ZoneAlarm, PCTool, & Ashampoo. I didn't like any of them. Summary: Ashampoo was the lightest on the system, but lowest on security according to other reviews, plus they started spamming me every 2 days. ZoneAlarm seemed the most competent, but it was heaviest on system resources. I thought PCTools was the best compromise between form & function, but the popup boxes got annoying & confusing, then it totally froze my PC after 3 days (it took many reboots, an uninstall and cleanup to fix).

It kept freezing up on me. If I tried to click on something in the ashampoo window then it would freeze & I'd have to restart the program. Sometimes it would cause everything to freeze up and I would have to restart my computer completely.
Summary
I tried Ashampoo because I was having problems with Zonealarm going slow because of its vsmon.exe program. Big mistake. Ashampoo worked terrible. Even though it is free I would not recommend this program to anyone. I couldn't configure it for my computer at all because it kept freezing up on me.

Easy to set up and use requests you confirm all traffic into and out of your computer. After a short time it will just get on with protecting you until you install a new program or a nasty appears.

Tends to minimize behind first run apps locking up the firewall and the app. Black and White block/access options.
Summary
For the most part I have been pleased with this program. Others that I have used have required too much micro management. My main beef is during 1st run apps, Ashampoo often generates an authorization window, but creates it either minimized or behind the app being run. At this point the app attempting internet access may not be able to proceed and the Ashampoo firewall can not be restored or clicked on to grant/deny access. You can't terminate the Fire wall via task manager because it is locked by system, so you are stuck with a reboot in order to fix this hanging mess. It's not realistic to approve/block new apps ahead of time because you don't always know what is going to try and phone home. It could be something as simple as a product registration on an app that normally doesn't use the internet. It is also a bit time consuming to try to approve an app that it is blocking unless you know the name of the file attempting access. In the case of the later, you are stuck browsing logs.
