Version: Ashampoo Cover Studio 2.01
"Very easy app to create dvd cover inlays.Very pleased!!"
Pros: I like the very simple and intuitive process for createing dvd inlays.All the needed functions are right there for you.It seems you can adjust just about anything associated with any project you may take on.I think it's a very user friendly app.
Cons: I would like the contents of the help section to address more of the problems that can arise in adding text or printing a dvd inlay,and how to solve or avoid some of the quirky little problems you might,and will encounter with this part of the app.
Summary: I like it because it seem's pretty simple to use.I only have been using it for a few days now,because I've been using another app,and already I've had to send an email to find out how to make my changes in font,size,color and shape be accepted in the inlay spine of a dvd cover.It was very simple once I was told,but it was the first time I encountered software that you had to print the text first,I mean who would a thought?Now the window for adjusting the covers to the right,left,up and down has disappeared, and I've had to email them again,because I can't find any info on how to get it to appear again in the help contents.That's maybe two day's or more of non use waiting for an answer,and I'm sure that someone knew that if you used it once it may not come up again with out some other extra user manipulation.I really wish I knew what it was though so I could continue with what I was doing and finish.I have other one's I would like to do.These are the quirky little things that I feel would really be helpful,and save so much time if addressed in the help contents.I have to say though even with these little annoyances I'm experienceing this software is much more user friendly than most others out there,and let me tell you I've tried a lot.Frankly I'm just mostly interested in printing the dvd inlays not much of anything else,and compared to some of the rocket sicence software out there this is pretty much straight to the point,but with the option to blow you away,and I like that!!!
