"It does all I need effectively, simply and efficiently."
Pros
Far better than the software that came with my Canon MP530. Professional looking results can be prepared in minutes, without the need for a manual. Very intuitive. As well as printing directly on to writable CDs and DVDs, it prints on most labels.
Cons
The only little niggle I have is that I must fiddle with the MP530s Print menu, before it will print on a CD/DVD. Most people, with printers than will print directly to writable media, would probably prefer that opttion to be set as the the default.
Summary
It is simpler, faster and more sophistocated than Canon's own software. When writing to a series of DVDs, I particularly like the ease of changing the background for each one, and simply changing the text. I can enter all the text I will need on the disks in a single box, and then change any of the font characteristics for individual words. I have just installed Roxio's Creator 2009, but I will not bother checking out its disk labeling program. Why should I. Cover Studio does all I want, its price is very reasonable, and I have no need of a manual. I like it.
