"Easy Reliable Burner"
Version: Ashampoo Burning Studio 11.04
Pros
I don't use many of the tools But what I do use has never given me the smallest problem and I have had all versions since 5 I think.
I remember CD burners costing £200 pounds and you got more failures than successes.Cons
Compact mode is a nuisance and won't go back to full mode. Avoid.
Otherwise none.Summary
Better than Nero and cheaper. Well worth the money.

Flawless in almost every way. The interface is clean and easy to understand. The burning part works beautifully and the basic DVD creation is really handy!
Cons

"Simple yet complete disk burning software"
Version: Ashampoo Burning Studio 11.0.2
Pros
Unlike Nero and Roxio, Ashampoo Burning Studio is incredibly simple to use. It includes every feature you could want. I have used previous versions for a couple years, they have all made reliable copies.
Cons
When compared to other programs, Ashampoo is so much more enjoyable to use that any weaknessess are easily overlooked.
Summary
I use Ashampoo several times a week to burn CDs, DVDs, and BD's. Occasionally I try to use one of the Nero or Roxio, but it only takes a few minutes for me to realize how much better Ashampoo is. Version 11 has a minimize option that is not helpful to me, the important new features are the ability to burn disks using cloud and social media based data and the added speed of utilizing multi-core processors. A trial version lets you see just how good Ashampoo is, if you have only limited needs for burning software Version 6 is still available and is 100% free.

"Not A Happy Customer"
Version: Ashampoo Burning Studio 10.0.15
Pros
Easy to use, great features, works fast.
Cons
After being a long time user of the free version, I paid for the upgrade to this version. I put in the key and it worked fine for a few months and then one-day it asked for my key all over again and it didn't work. It basically ask me to pay for it all over again. Customer service didn't help at all, they sent me a new key and that didn't work either. Money down the drain. I will never pay for a Ashampoo program again.
Summary
Stick with the free version.

Summary
Can definitely recommend to anybody requiring to author and / or burn media. Free trial is not feature restricted in any way as far as I can see. I purchased a license after only 2 uses of the software as it was clear that it was a quality product. Top marks.
