Burning discs may seem so mid-'90s to some of you, but CDs and DVDs are still an effective back-up tool, and if you're a budding filmmaker or have a garage band that's this close to making it big, discs are an essential medium for your mantra.
The good-looking, easy-to-use Ashampoo Burning Studio comes with all the tools most users will need to create audio, data, and video CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs. The interface is compact and uncluttered, with helpful tool hints that open up next to each burning option, making it hard to screw up. To set up a burn session, you can simply drag and drop files into a playlist-style window. We like the handy, omnipresent gauge at the bottom of the window, which lets us know how much free space we have left. Audio CDs can be made from file types including WAV, MP3, OGG, and WMA, while most video formats are supported for DVD.
Ashampoo Burning Studio doesn't have all the advanced features you'll find in huge packages such as Nero, but average users won't miss them. Ashampoo Burning Studio's simplicity and broad range of tools make it a superb choice for most burning needs.

This software version | All versions -
Version: Ashampoo Burning Studio 8.04
Pros: Easy Install and easy uninstall.
Cons: Often doesn't copy discs with Samsung DVD-Burner. I got a reading error at about half way of the burning. The same happened with the free version of Ashampoo Burning Studio 6.75. Of course the CD-R discs were waisted. Adding files were no problem.
Summary: I also tried Ashampoo Burning Studio Free 6.75 and 8 with a Hitachi LG Burner to copy discs. This was without error or problem.

Version: Ashampoo Burning Studio 8.04
"very simple to use, fine aspect in general."
Pros: i think that its price is very good for a burner.many light for the sistem.Stable.
Cons: the only defeats respect a program like NERO is the absence of a media converter and the impossibility to create chapter in a movie file.
Summary: if you think to clone a dvd already saved in your hard disk is really perfect, but if you want edit another file, for example .avi, you need another program too.perfect for CD audio.
