With the cost of CD and DVD media so low, discs now are the preferred mode for backing up, sharing, and transporting data. The good-looking, easy-to-use Ashampoo Burning Studio 6 comes with all the tools most users will need to create audio, data, and video CDs and DVDs. The latest version supports Blu-ray discs and allows you to back up and restore data across multiple CDs. Other features let you burn disc images, erase media, and make copies. The intuitive step-by-step interface keeps you moving in the right direction and makes it hard to screw up. To set up a burn session, you can simply drag and drop files into a playlist-style window. We like the handy, omnipresent gauge at the bottom of the window, which let us know how much free space we had left. Audio CDs can be made from file types including WAV, MP3, OGG, and WMA. Ashampoo Burning Studio doesn't have all the advanced features you'll find in huge packages such as Nero, but average users won't miss them. Ashampoo Burning Studio's simplicity and broad range of tools make it a superb choice for most burning needs.Publisher's description

Version: Ashampoo Burning Studio 6.10
"Burner what burner is supose to be"
Pros: Outsdandingly quick, simple, funcional and clear aplication, stable, does exactly what it says on the tin!(or more: what burner is supose to be!)
Obvious bonuses: CD riper, Back up, True Eraser... they realy work impecably!
Cons: hmmm... Chetah or Ashampoo?
Has few advantages, but lacks audio converter (wma- mp3), not that it supose to have, but something to pick on?

"6.1 released so bad(but acurate) reviews of version 6 r hidden!"
Pros: can try it out first
Cons: come on ive used download.com for years and ive noticed how often if i give software a bad review a slight upgrade is released so all previous usefull reviews of a product pointing out its flaws are lost..ashampoo wasted a huge a mount of my dvd disks it goes wrong everytime it gets to a slightly flawed jpeg or mpeg, iwas backing up thousands of digital photos and i found asampoo to be highly flawed so u need to view every mpeg and jpeg b4 u burn or u will waste many blank disks..ashampoo fix this silly flaw

Version: Ashampoo Burning Studio 6.10
"You're burning DVD's in 3 minutes!"
Pros: I just wanted to burn backups of files and photos right away, and this was a snap! Fantastic for the beginner. Sonic just doesn't work for me and doesn't even recognize a good disc when it sees one! I recommend Ashampoo.
Cons: Limited to the burning speed.
