With the cost of CD and DVD media so low, discs now are the preferred mode for backing up, sharing, and transporting data. Ashampoo Burning Studio 5 comes with a full stable of tools for creating audio, data, and video CDs and DVDs. Extra features let you burn disc images, erase media, and make copies. The intuitive step-by-step interface keeps you moving in the right direction with little room for error. You can simply drag and drop files into a playlist-style window. We like the handy, omnipresent gauge at the bottom of the window that let us know how much free space we had left. Audio CDs can be made from file types including WAV, MP3, OGG, and WMA. Overall, the broad range of tools and simplicity make Ashampoo Burning Studio 5 a solid choice for most burning needs.
