Version: Ashampoo Burning Studio Free 6.75
"I don't know what these people are talking about"
Pros: free, that's all i can think of
Cons: didn't work, buggy. I tried to burn a dvd, takes forever for the thing to start, then says unable to write. I tried to stop it from writing; the program froze up and so did my system, had to reboot. don't waste your time.
Summary: don't waste your time with this

"Awesome - did exactly what it said on the tin :))"
Pros: After wrestling for most of the afternoon with trying to burn a prepared DVD folder successfully to disc I chanced upon this software. 2 clicks and 20 mins later the job was done and the disc plays beautifully on everything I trialled it on. Yay!
Cons: None .....it's simple, efficient and freeeeeee

"Works wonderfully. I will recommend it to others."
Pros: I am not a computer geek; and you do not have to be one to run the product. Very straight forward.
Cons: Haven't found any as of yet.
Summary: What better comment can I say except that I will recommend the product.
Easy interface and not a problem to figure it out.
All you do is pick what you want to do and it does the work for you. Can't get much easier than that. -

"A simple, straight-forward program--and it's free!"
Pros: The first time I used the program, I didn't have to first study the technical ins and outs of burning disks including complicated details for each option. The default options took care of it all and the burning process went without a hitch.
Cons: It's a bit slow but other than that, it's great.
Summary: The first BU program that is truly EASY to use; I've tried several and always ended up being extremely frustrated. Not with Ashampoo: The opening menu is straightforward, the options are presented in plain English and the Help Contents can be easily... read more >>
