Version: Ashampoo Burning Studio Free 6.61
Pros: Ashampoo Burner is found to be the best alternative to Nero for me;except that it won't convert files to its required formats. We have to convert the video files using other converters and feed Ashampoo Burning Studio.Sometimes, it rejects files with a 'Notice'saying
the encoding is not proper. Its UI is very easy and burning/writing is very fast.
Cons: In full vn. also provision for conversion of video files is not there. It can give a very tough competition to Nero,if it provides facility to convert video files to its required specification, also.

Version: Ashampoo Burning Studio Free 6.61
Pros: Easy to install and you can choose to register. Because CDburnerXP is not compatible with the LG GSA-4163B DVD-Rewriter and my free bonus Cyberlink Power2Go 5.5 LE did not work I am very happy to have found Ashampoo Burning Studio Free 6.61. At first I was afraid, after reading the reviews at download, that I would receive many advertisement e-mails, but not registering during the setup will not cause any limitation to the Burning Studio 6.61. Burning Studio 6.61 is a solid, stable and reliable program, without error(s), drive(s) missing or other problem(s). I had to switch from Roxio Easy Media Creator 7, because it is not compatible with Internet Explorer 7. Burning Studio 6.61 is a little slower than CDburnerXP, but has more features like burning video files. I have not any regret of installing it.

Version: Ashampoo Burning Studio Free 6.61
"Excellent! Well worth downloading folks!!!"
Pros: Very nice interface, so easy to understand, i have Power2go & Muvee pre-installed on my Windows Vista and both are terrible, could not burn what i wanted? So i tried this and no bother, did what exactly says it does, very fast, does not hog your system. You can burn blue ray, wma, mp3 the list goes on. Also it's FREE, why look elsewhere?
Cons: Just one little note, you need to register (which is optional) but hey, not too bad!

Version: Ashampoo Burning Studio Free 6.61
"Nice, simple, lighter and FREE"
Pros: - All basic CD/DVD (and Blu-Ray) burning jobs can be done with this software
- GUI is nice.
- Compare to another free cd burner, obviously, Ashampoo is the winner.
- Compare to Nero, Ashampoo is far more slim
Cons: None so far
