"I liked playing with it: flexible, fast, useful."
Pros: I like the suggestion feature and the way you can then use variations in so many ways. I like the ability to experiment and see what a possibility will look like.
Cons: I am concerned about keeping pace with WordPress upgrades. WordPress adds features rapidly. Artisteer creates skins that will require many plugins to be really featured. That could be a problem, but I can't test that without buying it.
Summary: I like it a lot, but I can't really tell if buying it will work out. read more

"Simply Amazing - Designing a Joomla Site So Easy!"
Pros: This software is a no-brainer, just point and click and before you know it you will have a totally custom Joomla template without having to learn anything. It simply could not be any easier.
Cons: So far I haven't found any problems. I did have a problem with registration but customer service fix my issue in a matter of hours.

"USELESS IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO MAKE MONEY OUT OF IT"
Pros: So simple & easy to use.Absolutely no need of knowledge in HTML.
Cons: You can only create your website/blog.The files are saved in .artx format.So if you want to sell it to someone,then you have to ask your customer to buy Artisteer.They can't use your generated templates with the software itself.
Summary: 1.The templates while being exported asks for your blog-id & password so it's obvious that you can't upload it to your client's id. 2.The Customer support is Crap.All that they do is start fighting with reviewers if they report some bug about Art... read more

Pros: I use it on almost a daily basis for creating templates for my customers. It saves me from knowing the nitty gritty details of CSS and saves me a countless amount of time.
Cons: I have found some things that would be nice to have - being able set the font color of tool-tips and numbered lists in blocks as well as support for the wrapping of the menu bar.

Pros: Change template anyway you can.So simple & easy to use.Absolutely no need of knowledge in HTML.Just drag,drop.You can learn a lot of things just by trying it once.I have zero knowledge in html,but I'm thinking of selling my own templates with this.
Cons: I found uploading the templates are bit difficult.It would have been great if they could just provide the html format.But the blogger templates has to be uploaded to picasa,imageshack or some FTP site.
Summary: Some people might think the price is high,but for the product they are providing you with,the price is reasonable.A professional template designer will demand a lot more than that.And if you learn how to use it,then you can simply sell your own temp... read more
