Version: Art Plus Digital Photo Recovery 4.1
"Worked poorly on an SD camera card."
Pros: Price: hard to find one cheaper unless you get freeware, $19
Cons: Did not work on an SD camera card.
Summary: Tried version 4.1P of this program on a 1 GB SD camera card connected to WIN 2000. WIN explorer found 6 photos, but this program only found 4. Took several hours. Other more expensive programs found all 25 photos.

It's sad when someone is writing a review without actually knowing the program. It's absolutely irrelevant if the card is SD, CF or any other type or a brand. Also, while there may be SOME differences from program to program it's highly doubtful that if properly used any program could find five times more images then could be found using Art Plus Digital Photo Recovery. Usually, our program will actually find more images then any other as it uses more complex scanning technique -- which is why it works slowly as you correctly noted and recovery can indeed take several hours.
